TARGET AUDIENCE: Working families and anyone who likes to cook and/or eat, and those interested in the Buy Local movement.

"Cooking Fresh, Cooking Local" is a new television show that promotes and supports local farms, wineries and businesses in the four-state area. Each episode will be hosted by local chef, Karl Brown, formerly the head chef of the Yellow Brick Bank Restaurant in Shepherdstown, WV, now executive chef of Capital Camps and Retreat in Waynesboro, PA, and various guest chefs.

The format of the cooking show will be much like those seen on the Food Network. Chef Karl will demonstrate simple preparations for a complete meal using fresh and local ingredients and pairing the meal with one wine from a local winery or the occasional local microbrewery or distillery. Each show will display the local ingredients and the logos connected to those products.

There are many opportunities to advertise on "Cooking Fresh, Cooking Local" and it is believed that the cooking show will become very popular, very quickly. The Buy Local movement and "going green" has taken the nation and this are by storm lately. All involved will benefit from "Cooking Fresh, Cooking Local."
